The Eye of Horus, or Wedjat, is an ancient Egyptian symbol of protection, healing, health, and royal power, originating from the myth where the god Horus's eye was damaged by his uncle Set and later restored by the god Thoth, symbolizing restoration and wholeness. Worn as an amulet for spiritual and physical safeguarding, it also represented offerings, lunar cycles, and even fractions in Egyptian mathematics, appearing on tombs, jewelry, and boats for protection in life and the afterlife.
